Challenge

Rohde Nielsen A/S, Danish marine contractor specializing in dredging. Rohde Nielsen A/S challenged Termomontazas to be part of the process of building the first dredger in Lithuania.

Solution

Main figures: length overall was 82.00 in meters, width 16m. Deadweight at dredging mark was 3900. Dredging draught 5.50 meters. The capacity of the hopper dredger was 2500 m3. Termomontazas provided insulation works and interior outfitting on the 'Macuti' dredger.

Result

The newly constructed dredger now operates near the coasts of Africa, in the port of Beira in the Republic of Mozambique, where a new terminal is under construction.
